Possibly the safest prediction of this season is that before the 30th September 2018 the All Tackle British Measured and Released Record for Porbeagle Shark will be taken.
With the exponential growth currently taking place in the sport of sharking there is even a possibility that the All Tackle British Measured and Released Records for Mako and Thresher will also be taken.
Since there are no current All Tackle British Measured and Released Record holders for Porbeagle, Thresher or Mako it’s possible that they could be broken more than once during the season.
It’s even possible that the All Tackle British Measured and Released Record for Blue Shark could be beaten, although you need to improve on John Dines Big Blue which had an estimated weight of 256.5lbs to take that one.
