Catch and release a qualifying shark within 12 months of your application.
The outcome of the estimated weight versus length project was that the club would return to the qualifying length membership criteria. The minimum membership qualifying lengths are given below.
A qualifying Blue Shark must be a minimum of 70″ from nose to fork of tail.
A qualifying Thresher Shark must be a minimum of 48″ from nose to fork of tail
A qualifying Porbeagle Shark must be a minimum of 55″ from nose to fork of tail
A qualifying Mako Shark must be a minimum of 58″ from nose to fork of tail

Your application form must be witnessed by the skipper of the boat or a club member
A photograph of the shark in profile along with a measuring tape or other easily visible measuring device is preferred to accompany your application

Once your application has been approved you will receive a member certificate, membership card, rule book and a lapel badge.
Transfer from associate member to full member once a qualifying shark is caught and released is free.
