Full Membership Criteria Change

The SACGB full membership qualification criteria is changing from qualifying length to qualifying weight. The change will become fully effective on the 1st October 2018 but until then its possible to join as a full member of the club with a shark of qualifying length or one of qualifying weight

The qualifying weight is minimum 75 lbs which is calculated using the formula, (girth * girth * length nose to fork of tail)/800.  All measurements to be in inches.

The qualifying lengths (nose to fork of tail) are:

Blue                70”

Porbeagle       55”

Thresher         48”

Mako               58”
