SHARK ANGLING CLUB OF GREAT BRITAIN

We are happy to report that this years Shark Fishing Festival held on 8th, 9th & 10th July, here in Looe, was a great success with 30 anglers taking part.

The weather was extremely kind to us and we were able to go to sea on all three days with a total of 14 sharks being caught and released.
As well as the club trophies this is the first year that the club gave money as prizes instead of fishing tackle.

2009 REEF FISHING COMPETITION (open to members & non members)

The reef fishing competition took place on Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th May 2009. The weather was good and anglers were able to fish both days. Each species of fish are given points and the greatest number of points accumulated by an angler is the winner.
